Calvin was on of the nicest people I have ever met! His talent for woodworking was phenomenal! Calvin was on of my reasons to go to Chula Junction every weekend. I loved our crazy conversations and discussions of horror movies. Calvin was always ready to lend me a helping hand. I will cherish the handmade grandfather clock that Calvin made for Mike's office. May Calvin Rest in Peace and maybe one day we will see each other in that big flea market in the sky!!!

It was always great to talk with Calvin at Superior Walls. He had such a calm and quiet demeanor and I always enjoyed his stories. He spoke often about woodworking and the home improvement projects he was completing. He took great pride in his work. We will miss him very much at Superior Walls. May Calvin rest in peace.

From one woodworker to another...RIP
The Carpenter's Son
by Julie Carro
Entering the world, at first breath, He cries...
Joseph is flooded with joy and tears in his eyes,
As this precious babe's life is placed in his care,
He looks on His face, caressing His soft baby hair.
What a wondrous blessing, he says to Mary, his wife,
We've been given this child to foster His life...
A moment in time to hold in our hearts,
Alone with our Son, before His ministry starts.
Instantly, their hearts are melted as one,
As he whispers His name Jesus...the Carpenter's Son,
Oh God, my Father, please guide all my ways,
Help me to raise Him, Joseph quietly prays.
God said, Joseph the carpenter, teach Him to build,
Each creation He holds with the love I instill.
Help Him to see past the cold block of wood,
To a finished masterpiece, and proclaim it as good.
Teach Him to build with His heart and His hands,
For one day this child will build hearts of man.
This is why you were chosen to raise My only Son,
He will build a bridge to humanity when He says, "It is done."

Calvin's image remains in my mind, as I recall the many times he and I spoke with each other. I held him in high esteem, for he was truly a cut above the rest in both his generosity, kindness and respect for others, as well as his ability to transform ugly things into beautiful things. He was an amazing man and I will miss him. God bless all of you.
