It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

Uncle Earl, you left me with your famous last words for any hard times I face. "Everything will be alright!" I will draw on those words more now than ever in your absence. You were my navigation system in all my travels. You would call me 2 or 3 times a trip, just to make sure i didn't end up in another state :-).
You never let your challenges, aches or pains fall on anyone to carry. You never wanted to be a burden to any of us, just a pillar of strength for everyone. I LOVE YOU UNC and I'm glad Shelby and Kaysey got to know and LOVE their Great Uncle Earl. To say I'm going to miss you is an understatement. Love, Vanessa (niece)
