Obituary of Darrell Leon Johnson

Obituary Darrell Leon Johnson was born July 28, 1976, to Grace Johnson, and James Allen Sims. Darrell attended Cumberland Public Schools and obtained his GED from Goochland Tech Center. He graduated from Stratford University in 2014 with a BS in accounting. He was employed at Wise Choice for approximately ten years. His favorite past time was watching his favorite football team the Washington Commanders. Darrell also enjoyed traveling to different states, but above everything he enjoyed spending time with his children, relatives and friends. Darrell's soul ascended on September 16, 2024, at the age of 48. He was preceded in death by his children, Mason and Averleigh, father, aunts, uncles and nephew. He leaves his legacy to be remembered by his three children, Tierra, Kel'Lin, and Kenz'Lee; mother, Grace Mitchell; siblings, Linda (Desi) Austin, Isaac (Rashae) Johnson, Leslie Diming, Valencia (Alton)Smallwood, James (Murai) Johnson, Jeanette Sims, Lorenzo Sims, Lawanda Sims, Terrance Sims, Jarquez (Leon) Johnson, Bryant Clark; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
