Hello. I was a neighbor around the corner from Jean here in Tamarac. I am very sad to hear of her passing. We didn't see one another very often, but worked the polls together over the years, and we chatted when we would see one another at Bayhealth while volunteering. I was riding my bicycle about a month ago when I saw the for sale sign in her front yard. I decided to call her cell phone and when I received the message it was no longer in service, I googled her name and read the obituary.
I will miss our long talks, seeing one another in the neighborhood sometimes, and just her smiling face. I know you will all miss her terribly. Hugs to you.
May she rest in peace.

In the year of 1962, Jean and I met at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. We worked together in The Cancer Registry there. We became Lifelong Friends. We were constantly in each other's presence. As I tell other's, we shared life and death together; sickness and health; our children together and most importantly the Salvation and Deliverance of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Each and every time I was in Maryland to visit my family there, I always made time to spend with my Sister/Friend. During her open heart surgery, I assisted her for 3 weeks, helping her thru her recovery. Our last time together was in September of 2023. Only time can fill the void of our 62years of love and friendship. I am missing her in this earth realm, but Praises to God, I will spend eternity with her. Rest in His Loving Arms Jean, until we are together again.
Love thru all eternity
Your Sister/Friend

Q: How did you meet Jean?
A: I met Jean at the River of Life Church in 2001. We have been friends for years and we both served in the Ushers ministry. She was my mentor and dear friend. We spent time together outside of church. She was
a very caring person with a sweet spirit and we often made each other laugh at times. I grew very fond of her. I will miss her . My deepest condolences to the family.

My Sister/Friend
Jean was more than a friend to me, we were sister-friends. First, we became friends, because Jean was a very warm likable person so we hit it off. As our friendship grew we developed an unshakable bond that lasted over 50.. I shall always miss you, my sister but you had to answer a call to a Higher Power, as we all will someday. You made arrangements years ago - so—
Rest in HIS Peace.
Love,
Curt
