Obituary of Lynn Francine Stout

Please share a memory of Lynn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lynn Francine Stout was born in Montclair, New Jersey on February 16th, 1965, to Frances Harris and Winfield Stout. Lynn was a strong Christian woman who loved her faith and family dearly. She spent her early years in New Jersey but moved to Richmond, Virginia with her mother as a teenager where she settled. Lynn was a deeply caring person in both her work and personal life. She worked outside the home as a care provider, but her true joy came from caring for her mother, in her later years, and her children, and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed the simple things in life such as taking walks, writing letters to her friends and family, playing board games, listening to music, and a good, sweet treat. She had a quick wit and the unique ability to crack a well-timed joke including reminding us she didn't need spell check as she was a National Spelling Bee contestant. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was a familiar and beloved figure in her neighborhood. Lynn passed away at home in Richmond, Virginia surrounded by her family, at the age of 58, on Monday, December 25th, 2023. Her mother Frances Stout, infant daughter, Angel Marie Stout, sister Gloria Stout, and brothers George Stout and Winfield Stout Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Lisa E. Daye; children, sons Sean R. Stout and Brandon E. Stout, daughter Gloria A. Stout; grandchildren, Christian Stout, Maleya Stout, Aaron Stout, and Kinsley (Bella) Stout; devoted cousin, Sharon R. Dubose, and a host of other relatives and friends. While we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we also celebrate the countless moments of joy she brought into our lives. Lynn's legacy lives on in the laughter and love she shared so generously, and she will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The Children's Expressions of Love (Sean) Hey Mom, even though we were miles apart, I will always cherish the times we spent together. You're at peace now! Say hello to Auntie and Grandma for me! (Brandon) Dear Mom, Thanks for teaching me how to grind and take care of myself. The kids and I will always cherish the times we spent together. Even in your last days you taught me to not to show pain to your kid. Thanks for being the strongest woman I know and believing in me. (Gloria) Mom, I will love and miss you always. You have given me so much. I will remember you for your strength, humor, kindness, generosity, and all those phone calls and bus rides we took together. While I am deeply saddened, I am so glad you are free from suffering. Thank you for everything and I will see you again one sweet day. Your favorite daughter, Gigi. Acknowledgement Lynn's family would like to thank all who expressed their love during our bereavement. It is all deeply appreciated. May God continue to shower you with blessings.
