Pamela "Pam" Booker Obituary

Pamela "Pam" Booker was born in Cumberland, Virginia on September 10, 1971, Wilson Floyd Booker, Sr., and Ada Lee Brooks Booker.

Pam accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized, and joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cumberland, VA.

Pam attended the Cumberland County public schools and graduated from Cumberland High School.

Pam enjoyed cleaning, playing with children, watching tv and loved talking and laughing with you. She wasn't a person of many words but if she liked you, she would engage in your company by sitting by you smiling. Pam had a heart for mountain dew sodas not one or two but a case. She was one who could save her money whenever she was given any and her brothers would forever want to borrow, and she knew she was not going to get it back and she would fuss and roll her eyes at them and if her eyes could shoot, she would have shot one of them.

Pam loved her family especially her sister Cynthia, and she enjoyed her nieces and nephews when they were small because she used to love to tickle them.

Pamela peacefully passed at her resident with her mother by her side.

Pam is preceded in death by her father; sister, Cynthia; two brothers, Michael, and Dwayne Booker; and grandparents.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: mother, Ada Lee Booker; brothers, Wilson Booker, Jr., (Gloria), Royal Booker, Sr., and Paul Anthony Booker; three nieces, Wilnesha Holman (Jason), Royeshia Thornton, Ranesha Walton (Makhil); five nephews, Ron Carter, LaQuan Thornton, Marquay Thornton (Tiffaney), Royal Booker, Jr., and Daveon Thornton; six great nephews, and four great nieces; a host of uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends.

A place to rest

God looked down upon your body

So tired from hanging on

From a life so overwhelming

Daughter God wanted you back for his own

So, he took away the air you breathe

And gave you what was best

A place where you could be at peace

A final place to rest.
