Obituary of Ingetraud Gertrude Brown

Ingetraud Gertrude Brown, daugbter of the late Otto and Gertrude Jung, was born February 2,1951 in Wamau, East Germany. She was reared and educated in West Germany and became a bookkeeper by profession. Ingetraud was joined in holy matrimony to Paul W. Brown, Jr. on April 28, 1972. From this union one daughter was born. lnge was a wonderful wife, mother, and "Oma" who loved and cared deeply for her family. Since moving to Powhatan, Virginia with her family in 1987, she attended Little Zion Baptist Church and became an active member. lnge enjoyed gardening and shopping. She suffered with her health for many years and departed this life on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. She leaves 10 cherish fond memories her husband; one daughter, Tanja Brown Hicks; one son-in-law, Alvin Hicks; three granddaughters: Channing, Schuyler, and Finley Hicks; two brothers Siegfried and Michael Jung; two sisters Rotraud and Renate Jung; sisters-in- law: Gwendolyn Miller, Deborah Jackson, Delores McNeal and Siavica Jung; brothers-in-law Howard and Larry Brown, Joseph Miller, and Michael Jackson; best friend Dorothea Feehan; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
