Obituary of Early Booker

Please share a memory of Early to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
God sent his angel to pluck a rose from his garden on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our beloved father went home to be with God. Early Booker was born in Buckingham County to the late Charlie and Mary Trent Booker on November 18, 1938. At an early age he was converted, baptized, and joined Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church in Buckingham County. He attended Buckingham County Public Schools. Early was employed in the pulpwood business. The passing of our beloved love one creates avoid in our family that can never be filled. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Booker and Junior Booker; two sisters, Annie Swann and Ruth Booker. He leaves to cherish loving memories a loving companion Sallie Patterson; two sons, Marvin Booker (Angela); and Edward Rose (Delila) seven grandchildren; four sisters, Bertha Baker his twin, Virginia Bolden, Estelle Rose, and Louise Swann; one brother, Jim Booker; one uncle, Romeo Booker (Viola); a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; three devoted cousins, Tammy, Glenn, and Shirley. One special niece Linda Green.
