Earl "Man" Boatwright, the son of the late Henry and Annie Boatwright was born in Cumberland County November 18, 1947. He departed this life on Sunday, December 19,2010, at his residence.
Earl was educated at Pine Grove School, in Cumberland, County.
For many years he worked in the landscaping business, until the company for which he worked at went out of business.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Annie Boatwright and brothers, James and Henry, Jr. Boatwright.
He leaves to cherish his memory six sisters, Dorothy Boatwright, Lottie Goode, Rosa Gaines, Loretha "Pinky" Kirkwood (Stanley), Bernice "Peaches" Boatwright and Mollie Boatwright; one brother, Ernest "Rabbit" Boatwright; two aunts, Nita Foster of Cumberland and Mollie Johns of Richmond; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, cousins, friends and companion Margaret Brown.
