On Sunday, November 28, 2010, Wanda Gail Ford Seward departed her life suddenly at home in South Hill, Virginia. She was a former resident of Cartersville, Virginia where she attended and graduated from Cumberland County School. Wanda joined Pleasant View Baptist Church at an early age. She worships at Jacob Wells Fellowship Outreach Ministry in Manson, North Carolina. Wanda was always known for her smile. She is survived by her husband, Tony Seward; one son, Craig Ford both of South Hill, Virginia; four step-children, Detwonya Seward, Dequon Seward, Deltonia Moses, Delquila Moses all of North Carolina; her mother, Natley Ford of Cartersville; her mother-in-law, Mary Seward and father-in-law,Peter Seward both of North Carolina; three sisters, Jackie Johnson of Richmond, Virginia, Joyce Ford of North Carolina and Vanessa Ford of Richmond, Virginia; two brothers, Larry Ford of Goochland, Virginia and Michael Ford (Kia Jefferson Ford) both of Richmond, Virginia; four sisters-in-law, Diane Watkins (Melvin) of Richmond, Emma Gregory (Edward) of Manson, North Carolina, Beatrice Watkins (Lindberg) of Richmond, Virginia and Joyce Miller (David) of North Carolina; one aunt, Alease Langhorne of Farmville, Virginia and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
