Obituary of Evan Grashaun Woodson

Evan Grashaun Woodson was born July 22, 1992 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia and was raised in Cumberland County, Virginia. Evan gained his winds Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Henrico, Virginia. He received his education at Cumberland County High School in Cumberland, Virginia in 2010. At an early age, Evan was baptized and joined Petersville Baptist Church in New Canton, Virginia. He played the drums for multiple years at Petersville Baptist Church and Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Evan worked as a deli clerk and often referred to himself as a "Culinary Expert". He also served in various Customer Service positions. Evan was an avid musician and producer who spent countless hours making music with his friends. Evan especially enjoyed being a part of making the dreams of up and coming artist come true. Evan brought an infectious smile, a boisterous laugh and loving heart to so many. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend who always put others before himself. He loved attending games and performances of his nieces, nephews, and little cousins. He leaves to cherish memories his mother, Joanne Watkins; his father, Nick Chennault, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Ruth Lewis; maternal grandfather, Moses Lewis; paternal grandmother, Christina Chennault; paternal grandfather, Nick Chennault, Sr.; sister, Myia Jeffrey (Parker); sister, Nichole Chennault; brother, Trea'mond Royal; three nephews, Jace Jeffery, Titus Jeffery, and Lemon Royal; one niece, JeShai Jeffery and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, close cousins and friends. Evan shared special bonds with cousins Sammy Jr., Adrian, Saketra, Trevon (Duke) and close friends Ron, Bri and Hailey.
