Obituary of Louis Vernard Henderson

Louis Vernard Henderson, son of the late Matthew and Nathaline Anderson Henderson was born in Buckingham County, Virginia on December 26, 1944. Louis joined Petersville Baptist Church at an early age where his membership remained. He attended Petersville School in Buckingham, County Virginia. He was employed with Holly Farms, Jackson's Landscaping and various jobs throughout his life. Louis loved his family dearly especially his children and grandchildren. He was a very outgoing person who was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Those who met him will never forget him. He departed this life on August 30, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Chesterfield, Virginia surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. He leaves to cherish fond memories his daughter, Amy Brooks (Jessie); two sons, Lewis Vernon Booker, (Katrice) and Jerome Booker (Shaunteshia); twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
