Travis Jessie Johnson, son of Lionel and Robin Johnson-Turner, was born on July 18, 1988 in Mount Vernon, New York. At an early age he was converted and baptized and joined White Rock Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, New York. He was educated through Mount Vernon public school system and for a short time he attended Buckingham County public schools. Travis worked various odd jobs including as a chef and in security. In 2016, he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he was employed as a line chef at the Tryon Hotel. Travis was known for his outward personality and the ability to make people laugh and he had a passion for cooking. In his spare time, he loved watching anime cartoons and wrestling. On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 Travis gained his heavenly wings and departed this life at CMC hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Lionel and Robin Turner-Johnson, brother Jermaine Johnson, Mt. Vernon, NY, sister Kianna Stanton (Jamal), Cumberland, VA, one grandfather Thomas Johnson, Cumberland, VA, one godmother Earnestine Lewis, Mt. Vernon, NY, three great-aunts, eight aunts, eight uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and one devoted friend Michael Townsend.
