William "Popcorn" Johnson was born on July 22, 1961 to the late Junious and Loretha Langhorne Johnson. He was the oldest of three children brought forth by this union. William accepted Christ was baptized at an early age and became a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. William attended Cumberland County Public Schools and later he received his GED. William was employed by Covance Research for 31 years. William "Popcorn" was a people person. He enjoyed fishing and attending sporting events that his children participated in. William met the love of his life, his high school sweetheart Deloris "Drena" Brown and on June 1, 1985. They were married, from this union three children were born. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Deloris "Drena" Johnson; two daughters, Shaquanda of Maryland and Ayshia of Cumberland; one son, Kendell of Cumberland; two brothers, Claude Johnson and Irvin Johnson; three aunts, Sadie Everett, Addie Trent, and Caroline Crump (Larry); seven uncles, Robert Langhorne (Delores), William Langhorne (Rosa), Dennis Langhorne, Reggie Langhorne (Laura), Lewis Langhorne (Linda), Taylor Langhorne (Alice), and Floyd Langhorne (Barbara); three brothers-in-law, Lewis Brown (Karen), Keith Brown (Vanessa), and John Baker; one sister-in-law, Cynthia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
