Obituary of Donielle Demertirius Jackson

Donielle Demertirius Jackson was born on February 14, 1974 to the late Myrtle Sims Jackson and Benjamin Donnie Jackson in Richmond, Virginia. He entered eternal life on September 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Queen Maultsby, grandparents Georgia and Gary Sims, as well as his Uncle Jerry Jackson. At an early age, he joined Tarwallet Baptist Church in Cumberland, Virginia. He graduated from George Wythe High School in 1993 and later moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was a fun-loving person who enjoyed life and his family. He enjoyed detailing cars and fixing appliances – a true jack-of-all trades. To know him was to love him. Donielle will be truly missed. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his son, DaVonte Fleming; granddaughters, Angel and Nylah; two sisters, Durichee Jackson of Fayetteville, NC and Dana Jackson-Branch of Richmond, VA; a brother, Christopher Elliot of Richmond, VA; grandparents, Robert and Doretha Jackson of Cumberland, VA; five aunts, Shelia Watkins (Lee) of Richmond, VA; Emma Lewis (Ceasar) of Amelia, VA, Dorothy Nelson (Randy) of Cumberland, VA, Doris Crum (Crawford) and Sandra Smith (Smitty) of Chesterfield, VA; three uncles, Gary Sims, Jr. (June) of Hampden-Sydney, VA, Robert Junior Jackson of Cumberland, VA, and Alvin Gray of Cumberland, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, among those devoted were Karl Jackson of Cumberland, VA and Shawntell Sims of Richmond, VA, as he mentioned on numerous occasions, the love of his life, Lucinda, and his step-father, Alton Woodard of Fayetteville, NC.
