Obituary of Nancy Mae Wheele
Please share a memory of Nancy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nancy Mae Wheele the daughter of Bibb Trent and the late Waverly Trent was born on June 22, 1960 in Cumberland, VA.
Nancy professed Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church. On August 27, 1987, she was joined together in Holy matrimony to Raynard E. Wheele. Within their union they reared one daughter and one son.
She was educated in Cumberland County, graduating from Cumberland County Public Schools. Through her continued education she became a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Even in her younger years Nancy knew the importance of God, family and friends. The foundation of these values continued to strengthen and encompass the very essence of what molded her into a loving mother, devoted wife, dependable sister and obedient daughter. She was a woman of strength who had faith in God and she was a follower of Christ. Her love and care for others overflowed and was demonstrated through her care for her patients. She nurtured the spirits of those in need through her warm embrace, thoughtful words and continuous prayers. She could easily be identified by her bright smile, infectious laugh and welcoming demeanor. She will be greatly missed by her family, community, and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband of 29 years, Raynard Eric Wheele; one daughter, Nieasha Barnes (Atoro), of Maryland; Travis Wheele, of Cumberland Va; mother, Bibb Trent, of Cumberland Va; six sisters, Dorothy Trent, Mary Edmonds (George), Laura Langhorne (Reginald), Julia Athey (Alonzo), Annie Trent (Timothy), all of Cumberland Va., Margaret Jones, of Richmond Va; five brothers, Waverly Henry Trent (Florence), Walter Trent (Rosa), Robert Trent, all of Cumberland Va., Parker Trent (Shelia), Porter Trent, both of Richmond Va; five grandchildren, Jalen, Austin, London, JaLeyah and Mason; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, one devoted friend, Minnie Bolden.
