Obituary of Nannie Scott

Nannie Scott was born on June 15, 1938 in Cartersville, VA to the late Willie and Celia Streat Scott.
She attended Flat Rock and Luther P. Jackson schools in Cumberland County. She enjoyed worshipping the Lord with her sister, Pat. She was a faithful member and Usher of Little Fork Baptist Church until she moved to Christiansburg, VA. There she joined Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church where she served on the Usher’s Ministry for 30 years. Nannie’s past time hobbies were quilting and cooking. Her favorite dish to make was potato salad.
On Thursday, June 16, 2016, the day after her 78th birthday she departed this life in Christiansburg, VA.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Alzeria “Pat” Dillard of Christiansburg, VA and Dorothy Scott of Blacksburg, VA; two brothers, Lindsey Scott and Bennie Scott both of Christiansburg, VA along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
