Obituary of Chucky Lamont Henderson

Chucky Lamont Henderson passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born on March 26, 1973 in Charlottesville, Virginia to Estelle Henderson and the late Billy Glover. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Glover, uncle Earl Henderson and grandparents Elsie and Collie Henderson. He attended school in Buckingham County and graduated in 1991. He joined the New Hope Baptist Church early in life. He was employed at Bremo Bluff, where he monitored the water for coal burning. He also did landscaping with his brother during his spare time to earn extra money. His hobbies were playing basketball, fishing, and playing bid whist. Chucky lived his life to the fullest and stayed close to his family. He was an honest, hardworking, and caring person who was always willing to help others. Chucky is survived by his loving mother, Estelle Henderson of New Canton; four brothers, Billy Henderson of New Canton, Kenneth Henderson, Lionel Glover, and Rodney Glover of Richmond; three aunts, Ethel Tanner, Lucille Henderson and Mary Henderson; six uncles, Alfred Henderson (Emma), Charles Henderson (Doris), Harvey Henderson (Sandra), James Glover, Furman Glover and Curley Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends including his best friend, Freddy Young.
