Obituary of Jerry O'Neal Jackson

Jerry Oneal Jackson, 56, aka "The California KID", the son of Robert Benjamin and Doreatha M. Jackson was born on April 1, 1959. At an early age, Jerry received Christ, was baptized and joined the Cornerstone Baptist Church. He was a Trustee, a member of the choir, a hospitality worker, and Church bus driver. Jerry would do anything else you needed him to do. Jerry graduated from Cumberland High School. After graduating he continued working for R. B. Jackson Pulpwood Co., Inc. for 40 years driving the big rig! He departed this life on Sunday, February 28th, 2016 at his residence in Cumberland. Preceding him in death was his brother, Benjamin. Left to remember him joyfully: his son Gavin "SLIM" Jackson (Tammy) and their son Noah. He also leaves behind his siblings: Sheila Watkins (Rev. Lee); Saundra Smith (James); Robert L. Jackson; and Thomas Reed (Brenda). Aunt Net (the "Roc"); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
