Obituary of Wallace Robinson

In the early morning hours on March 10,2010, the Lord in His infinite wisdom, received unto Himself our beloved Wallace Robinson. He was the youngest child of the late Tom and Channie Royal Robinson. He attended Logansville School in Powhatan County, Virginia. Later, he moved to Riverhead Long Island where he worked for a long period of time. Wallace returned back home to Powhatan, to assist in caring for his sister, Ophelia Washington. He was employed by the State Highway Department in Powhatan until he retired. Wallace Robinson was baptized into the membership of Mt. Zion Baptist Church Powhatan. He touched many lives and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ophelia Washington and brother, Julian Robinson. He is survived by: two nieces, Florine W. Schoultz, Rosa W. Johnson (Walter); two nephews, Franklin Washington (Barbara), and James Brown; great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
