Abraham (Blue) Lincoln Langhorne, Jr. son of the late Abraham Lincoln Langhorne, Sr. and Lottie Langhorne Johnson was born on October 20, 1957. Abraham joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Paul Evans. He was the proud father of one son Christopher Orlando Smith. He was educated in Cumberland County, graduating from Cumberland High School in 1978. He also played basketball and football for the Cumberland Dukes where he was a devoted fan until Friday, September, 19, 2014. During High School he worked part-time at Hazelton Research. Abraham pursued another career at Deep Meadow Correctional Center, and then he returned back to Hazelton Research now known as CRP, Inc. Abraham was a dedicated worker who only missed 3 days of work and was highly respected by his coworkers. Abraham then went on to become one of the Supervisors of CRP, Inc. in Cumberland, Virginia. In 2009, he retired after becoming ill with 26 years of service. Abraham would extend a helping hand to anyone that needed help. He was a man that was embedded in Christian principles and believed in God. He was a devoted father, brother, son, and friend. His life hobbies included hunting and fishing. He also loved winning and attending shooting matches. On Friday, September 26, 2014, God called Abraham home.
