Obituary of Woodrow Wilson Donikin

Woodrow Wilson Donikin, Jr., a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Donikin, Sr. and Willie Jane Donikin was born February 16, 1956 in Powhatan, Virginia. At an early age he was converted, baptized and joined the Little Zion Baptist Church. Later, moving his membership to the Little Fork Baptist Church to be with his wife, Patricia Mayo Donikin. He attended the Powhatan Public Schools. He was employed at Virginia Builder as a Truck Driver/Machine Operator for approximately thirty years. Prior to working for Virginia Builder he works for Massey Building Supply as a Truck Driver and Fork Lift Operator. Woodrow was affectionately known as "Bubba"; was a Happy-go-Lucky person, a great father and friend to many. If you had something you needed help with, just call Bubba and he would be right there to lend a helping hand; never asking for anything in return. On December 24, 2013 he departed this life at his home in Cartersville, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frankie and Ernest Donikin; two sisters, Maria Johnson and Odessa Clark. He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Maurice Donikin; one daughter, Chandra Donikin; one granddaughter, Brienca Donikin; two sisters, Betty Boatwright and Sylvia Ford; along with host of other relatives and friends.
