Obituary of Ardell Marie Green

Ardell Marie Davenport Green was born February 10, 1951 to the late Charlie and Elizabeth Foster Davenport. Ardell was educated in the Baltimore City Public School system. She also continued her education through Baltimore Community College where she received her degree in culinary. Ardell received the Lord at a very early age through Faith Tabernacle Church. Ardell left Baltimore and moved to Blackstone, Virginia where she married her husband, Lloyd Alvin Green, Sr. of 34 years. She was a very loving and devoted person to her husband, kids and especially to her grand babies. She really enjoyed cooking and partying. She enjoyed a lot of things; just too many to name. To know Ardell is to love her to pieces. Her favorite song was "I stay with you" by John Legend. Ardell departed this life on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lenora and brother, Charles Davenport. Ardell leaves to carry on her memories: her husband, Lloyd Alvin Green, Sr. "Al"; three daughters, Tracey, Katrina "Meat" and Katrell; two sons, Troy "Boo" and Lloyd Green, Jr. "Shink"; eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Samuel Davenport and Joseph Davenport; two sisters, Levera Davenport and Joyce Davenport; two Godchildren, Cornelius and Antone; two aunts, Valerie and Juanita; two uncles, William Davenport (Lottie) and Freddie Foster; two sisters-in-law; four brothers -in-law; along with a host of nieces and nephews
