Randolph George Scott, Jr. was born on March 30, 1982 in Charlottesville, Virginia to Randolph and Viola Riddle Scott, Sr. At an early age Randolph was baptized at Rising Zion Baptist Church were his membership remained. He attended Cumberland County Public Schools. Randolph had several nicknames; "Lil Scott", "Jr.", and "Randy". Randy enjoyed spending time with his son. He was a people person; full of jokes, laughter and a huge smile; that would light of any room. Randy had a passion for race cars. He was gifted with being an automotive trouble shooter for all makes of vehicles for many people but especially for Mark Ingle. You could often find Randy at Napa Auto Part Store telling jokes, laughing and helping out. Randy loved styling in his sneakers with matching cap. Randy worked for several companies during his adulthood; Napa Auto Parts, Colony Construction, Stock Building Supply and D. A. Harris Trucking. On Monday, September 16, 2013, Randy departed this life at Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Scott; grandmother, Blanche Scott; grandfathers, Howard Scott, Jr. and Howard Riddle. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his father, Randolph Scott, Sr.; one son, Vydez Scott; 3 sisters, Victoria Boatwright, TaNisha Scott, and Candace James; 3 brothers, James Scott, Travis Scott (LaShaunda), and Howard Scott, III; grandmother, Annie Riddle; 8 aunts, Kathleen Riddle, Joyce Coles (Alex), Patricia Riddle, Barbara Johnson (Kenneth), Deborah Graves (George), Connie Brown (Marvin), Majorie Riddle, and Brenda Taylor; 6 uncles, Tony Riddle (Willetta), Larry Scott (Lucille), Gary Scott (Annette), Sandy Scott, Jerry Scott, and James Scott; 7 great aunts, Elizabeth Trent, Antonia Bing, Gracie Brown, Mary Henderson, Dorothy Overton, Dot Parker, and Helen Rose; 4 great uncles, Robert Scott, Paul Tanner (Mary), Earl Mayo (Dorothy) and George Mayo; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, two devoted, Mark Ingle and Jessica Brooks.
