Obituary of Sheryl Nash

Sheryl Nash was born and reared in Riverhead, New York to Mattie Geraldine Nash on April 3, 1965. She is one of six children. Sheryl attended Riverhead Public Schools. After school, she worked for Tru Tec Chemical Plant until she moved to Cumberland, Virginia. Once in Virginia, she worked in housekeeping in the hotel chain. As a young child, she joined Gordon Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gordon Heights, New York. She like working with flowers, going fishing, and bicycling. Sheryl was a very comical and fun loving person. Even though she had no biological children; she reared and loved Lakyra Ramose as if she were her own. Lakyra was her pride and joy. Sheryl had been ill for about 18 years until she was called home on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memories; mother, Mattie Geraldine Nash; two sisters, twin, Sharon Nash and Tina Nash; three brothers, Gerald Nash, Robert Nash (Foretta), and Maurice Nash; grandmother, Martha Nash; six nieces; one nephew and a host of great aunts and uncles, one devoted, John Nash; along with many cousins and friends.
