Please share a memory of Molly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Molly M. Monroe, daughter of the late John and Gracie Langhorne Monroe was born in Buckingham County on December 15, 1951. At an early age she found Christ and was baptized at Petersville Baptist Church. Later, she moved her membership to Sharon Baptist Church. Molly was a pleasant, quiet and loving person whom loved her family, friends, and many individuals in the community. She loved to cook for family and friends, raise gardens, and loved to listen to gospel music. She would always greet you with a smile, and you could count on her to lift your sports. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed from our family and community. On Wednesday, May 22, 2013 she peacefully departed this life to begin a new life. Molly was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She leaves to share fond memories; two sister, Nancy V. Monroe and Florine Monroe; one brother, John Monroe; four nieces, Shirley Moseley (Craig), Emma Claytor, Minnie Bolden (Clayton); three nephews, Douglas Monroe (Darcey), Douglas Crump and Eddie Crump and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; two devoted friends, Pearl Hill and Janet Wilson; one devoted care-giver whom she affectionately called "Sweet-Pea"
