Obituary of Lloyd Edward Warren, Jr.

Lloyd Edward Warren, Jr., was born October 7, 1966 to Elvera Brydie and Lloyd Edward Warren, Sr. in Richmond, VA. He was affectionately known to his family as Junie. His grandma Brydie Affectionately called him her "Dough Boy". Lloyd was baptized at an early age at Hollywood Baptist Church. He attended school for twelve years in Powhatan County. After school, he joined the U. S. Navy where he served two years. He worked for the Department of Corrections for several years and then decided to become a truck driver. For a while he worked as a Welder Apprentice, later returning to corrections where he was employed until 2011. He attended Virginia College in Culinary Arts. Lloyd loved to cook. Cooking wasn't his only love, being in the kitchen, he also loved to eat, especially Collard Greens and Apple Cobbler. His eyes would light up when you said you had cooked Collards. He loved his dogs and unusual Iguanas, one in particular, "Wharf". He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers' fan. He was preceded in death by his loving maternal grandparents, Joseph and Elmina Brydie and paternal grandparents, Lloyd Thomas and Josephine Warren. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving parents, Elvera Tenette (Renaldo) and Lloyd Edward, Warren, Sr. (Willie Mae); a son, Calvin Laderek Brown; 2 daughters, Eboni Warren and Brayn Nareece Brown; a brother, Andre Warren (Florence); 4 aunts, Elanor Myers (Welford), Gloria Evans (Frank) Alice Bell (Derrick) and Shelly Gray (Carlton); 2 uncles, William Warren (Gloria) and Charlie Brydie (Renee); a nephew, Andre, Jr.; 2 nieces, Amanda Brown and Brianna Brown, cousins and friends.
