Obituary of Wallace Garfield Miller

Please share a memory of Wallace to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wallace Garfield Miller, Jr. was born on March 7, 1968 in East Orange, New Jersey to the parents of the late Wallace Sr. and Betty (Taylor) Reed Miller. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age at Faith Temple Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey under the leadership of Bishop Forbes. He attended various churches in later years, including Greater Works Ministries, New Hope and Ebenezer. He attended elementary school in New Jersey before the family moved to Cartersville. After he graduated from High School in Cumberland County, Wallace furthered his education at a local community college. Although he was employed in various occupations, the one he enjoyed most was landscaping, and he was involved in this line of work until his health began to decline in the last few years. Wallace married Angela Ford in 1996, and out of this union three children were born: Lavell, Shannon, and Damonn. Everyone fondly knew him as "Peanut" and he was distinguished by his charm, personality and dry wit. Peanut had a pleasing smile and away with words. His main love was for his children, and he also was an avid sports fan. After a long and courageous fight with a medical illness, he departed this life Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 6:44am. He is survived by: his wife, Angela; three children, Lavell, Shannon and Damonn; two grandchildren, Trezden and Jahmir; three sisters, Renee Peace, Renita Johnson (Bill) and Regina Scott(Moses); two aunts, Mary Lou Blanton and Grace Thomas; mother-in-law, Jackie Johnson; father-in-law, Robin Johnson (Helen); three brothers-in-law; a devoted cousin, Dyanne Taylor; devoted friend, James Dedmond; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
