Obituary of Watt Phillip Trent

Watt Phillip Trent, affectionately known as "Phillip", departed his life on Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Phillip was born July 25, 1929, the son of the late Murray and Florence Trent in Cumberland, Virginia. He was educated at Cedar Fork School in Cumberland, VA. Phillip confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Cumberland, VA, but later joined Reed Rock Baptist Church in Amelia, VA. Later on in life, he rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Phillip was married to Beulah Mae Booker and from this union they had six children. Phillip was employed by Palmer Lumber for over thirty years. Phillip loved working on cars and watching his favorite TV shows: Judge Joe Brown and Wrestling. Phillip was a loving person and always willing to help others. He was proceeded in death by his parents, a very special niece, Pansy Booker, and a son-in-law, Alfred Mayo, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Beulah of sixty-one years; his children, Catherine Johnson, Hazell (Gloria), Velma Mayo, Romaine Holcomb (Chris), Marshall (Bonnie) and Alfred (Bridgette); twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Monique, Mozell Trent, and Iola Bartee and one beloved brother, Franklin Trent (Pauline); two brothers-in-law, Robert Booker and Irving Booker (Mary); one sister-in-law, Catherine Booker, a devoted niece, Ishima Ford; a devoted friend, Adolphus Allen, and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
