Barbara Jean Wesch Cagle,68, of Cumberland, VA, formerly of Exmore, VA, began her journey to be with her savior on January 6, 2025.

Barbara Jean enjoyed doing research on the Cumberland Forest. She often lectured and educated visitors about the history of the area.

Barbara Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Malissa Lloyd, grandmother, Ruby E. Brinkly, brother, Michael E. Wesch, and father, Sam Bradford.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jim L. Cagle, mother Betty Bradford, daughter, Angelica Lloyd, nephew, niece, grand nephew, grand nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service has been scheduled at Outreach Center for Exmore Baptist Church in Exmore, VA at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. A celebration of life service will be held on a later date at Winston Lake, Cumberland State Forest.
