Paul Jr. was joined in holy matrimony to Ingetraud Gertrude on April 28, 1972. From this union, one child was born. Paul Jr.'s wife, Inge and daughter, Tanja preceded him in death as well as two of his sisters, Catherine, and Dorothy. Paul Jr. was kind and helpful to all who knew him. He enjoyed working on his farm, attending church at Little Zion Baptist Church, and watching sports. Paul Jr. enjoyed spending time with his family, often eating with them at Golden Corral. He loved being an "Opa" to his grandchildren always treating them to breakfast at IHop and dinners at his favorite steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse. Paul Jr. peacefully departed this life on October 22, 2023, surrounded by his family. He leaves to cherish fond memories a devoted son-in-law, Alvin Hicks; three granddaughters, Channing (Sarim) Khan, Schuyler, and Hayden Hicks; one grandson, Jacob Hicks; one honorary grandson, Joshua Brown; two brothers, Howard, and Larry Brown; three sisters, Gwendolyn Miller, Deborah Jackson, and Delores McNeal; a devoted nephew, Robert Brown, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. God 's Garden God look around and found an empty place. He then looked down upon earth, and saw your tired face He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest; God's garden most be beautiful – He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain; He knew you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and hills were hard to climb, So, he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace be Thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, For a part of us went with you, The day God called you home. Acknowledgements The family wishes to take this opportunity to thank all our family and friends who extended love and support during our time of bereavement. It was your many acts of kindness that helped us through this period of deep sorrow. May God Bless you and his love yours to share.
