Obituary of Annie Mae Trent

Annie Mae Trent, a daughter of the late Paul Booker and Elizabeth Hobson Booker was born on September 19, 1933 in Cumberland County, Virginia. Annie Mae was converted, baptized and joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age. She attended the public schools in Cumberland. In 1949, she was joined in wedlock to Raleigh Trent. They shared 67 years together. After marriage they moved to Riverhead, NY where Annie was employed in a poultry factory. In 1997, she and her husband returned to Virginia to make their home. She then reunited with Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending church on Sundays. Annie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raleigh Trent; five siblings, Gladys Gilliam, Thomas Booker, Andrew Booker, Joe Booker, and Willie Booker; five children, Lillie Mae, Benjamin, Leroy, Tim, and Raleigh, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Mabel (Raymond), Yvonne (Lancaster), Tyrone (Jenny), Kisha (Ricky), Ramona (Frank) and Sirena (Willie); 29 grandchildren; a brother, Jack Booker; a sister, Queenie Trent (Pascal Lee); five sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kirby, Shirley Smith, Josephine Booker, Elizabeth Trent, and Elsie Trent; a brother-in-law, Joe Trent (Polly); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
