Florence was a woman of strength, love, and resilience. She was known for her kind heart, beautiful ways, strong spirit, sense of humor, and she always put her family first. She had a way of making others feel welcome and cared for. Her love knew no limits because throughout her life she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Myles. Florence, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 49.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Rodrequis Tinsley; two daughters, Tashanna & Keshawnna; six grandchildren, Kanyiah, Faith, Miquel Jr., Londynn, Armias, and Justice; parents, Martha Myles, Moses Miles (Arlene); three brothers; Fredrick Myles (Trish), Barry Myles (Cherelle), Gerry Myles (Alice); two sisters, Sylvia Myles, Roberta Allen; four aunts, Catherine, Mary, Rosa and Jackie; five nephews; five nieces; a host of family members and friends who loved her dearly. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we shared with her and the memories that will live on forever. Her love, lessons, and legacy will continue through all those she leaves behind.
My Family, I Made It Home
To my children, grandchildren, mom, dad
brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews
I just wanted to let you know
that I made it home.
The journey wasn't an easy one,
but it didn't take too long
Everything is so pretty here,
so white, so fresh and new.
I wish that you all could close your
Eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand God is taking care of me…
I'm in the shelter of his hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow,
and no pain.
Here there is no crying
and I'll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing.
I really have to go for now…
I've just got to try my wings.
