Obituary of Elector Onemether Sheff

Obituary Elector "Jackie" Sheff Elector Onemether Scheff was born on October 19, 1951, to Harry Jones and Ruth Wilson in Amelia, Virginia. She received her education from Cumberland public schools and attended Tearwallet Baptist Church with her family during her youth. After completing school, she relocated to Florida and worked for a linen company for twenty-five years. Subsequently, she returned to Cumberland where she served the public school system as a substitute teacher for eighteen years. She had a profound passion for working with children and considered it her "calling in life." Affectionately known as Jackie by friends and family, she enjoyed window shopping and attending yard sales. On Saturday, April 19, 2025, she peacefully passed away and was carried home by an angel to be with her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jackie leaves to cherish loving memories two sons, Ervin Jackson (Theresa), Donnell Sheff; two bonus daughters, Brittany Wilson, April Wilson; four grandchildren, three bonus grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters; Evelyn Jackson (James), Peggy Harris, Eva Jean Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelations 21:4
