Carrie Ann Epps

Carrie Ann Epps daughter of the late Carrol J. Epps and Geraldine Brooks of Richmond, Virginia. Carrie went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2019.

Carrie was a high-spirited young woman, and a go getter in life. She attended King William High School where she graduated with the class of 1989. She then attended Job Corps in West Virginia where she studied Criminal Justice. If you wanted to laugh, she was the comedian to hire. LOL!!!

Carrie was later diagnosed with (MS) Multiple Sclerosis in the early 90's. Even with this it didn't stop her positive spirit and beautiful smile. Carrie had a personal relationship with the Lord, she always knew how blessed she was to be alive. Every day we knew it was a battle for Carrie to deal with her illness. So, God said well done my faithful servant it's time to come home.

She leaves to cherish her memories mother Geraldine Brooks; four brothers, Raymond Epps, Tyrone King (Shanea), Kevin King, and Gerald King; one sister; Mary Woody, nine aunts; Sara Epps, Cora Epps, Annie Epps (Tom), Louise Brice, Martha Brown, Geraldine Pinkston, Rebecca Hickman, (Sammy), Mable Dora Hubbard, and Luella Ball; three uncles; Ernest Epps, Jessie Brooks (Norine), and Frankie Lee Brooks; two nieces, Marie Faggins, and Kyler King; one nephew, Aiden King; two great nieces, Zamara Murphy, and Zileah Davis; and a host cousins, and friends.

Mom, I write you this letter.

From heaven up above,

Sent on wings of angels,

To them on earth I love.

I want you know; I am happy!

Contented and free from pain.

Waiting for the day to come!

When we will meet again.

I want you to be happy!

Remember the times we had.

How can I be happy! in heaven

Knowing you are sad.
