" Proverbs 31:30 Margaret Wright, daughter of the late Lee and Polly Brown in Ballsville-Powhatan County on December 11, 1924. Margaret was educated in Powhatan County Schools. At an early age she sought and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and joined Mt. Pero Baptist Church. As a teenager, seeking a better life, she migrated to New York and spent most of her adulthood in Brooklyn. There she tried and excelled at a number of things and did the most to maximize her opportunities. At the time of her retirement she was employed as a Home Healthcare Worker for the city of New York. After Retirement she returned to Powhatan, reconnected with the church and remained until her death a faithful member. There she steadfastly advocated for the least among us especially those who are elderly or children. Margaret departed this life suddenly amid family on December 11, 2014. She was preceded by her parents and husband, Willie Wright. Those left to cherish memories of her are a loving daughters, Trudy Abdul; grandson, Clinton Abdul; granddaughters, Nicole Abdul and Norma Crenshaw (Andrew); great granddaughters, April Day, Lacey Abdul, Cheyenne Crenshaw and Ariel Crenshaw; great grandson, Andrew Crenshaw, Jr.; a sister, Alma Jones; a brother, Zack Brown; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
