Obituary of Earl Lee Henderson

Earl was born July 4, 1955 to the late Willie Collie and Elsie Cabbelle Henderson in Buckingham, Virginia. He attended Buckingham County School. At an early age Earl joined New Hope Baptist Church in New Canton. Later he and his wife became a Watch Care members of Petersville Baptist Church. On November 23, 1977, he married his devoted and loving wife, Mary. From this union one son, Earl, Jr. was born. Earl was a kind hearted and loving person who always love people, and would do anything he could for everyone. Even through his sickness, he was always concerned about others and whatever he could do to make their lives better. Earl thoroughly enjoyed being able to work for himself as a carpenter through building decks, porches, fixing wells, doing electrical work or even plumbing; he was a master at all. On Sunday, December 7, 2014 Earl departed this life peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends. Earl memories will be cherished by: his wife, Mary; son, Earl, Jr.; two daughters, Harmony Henderson and Chantoria Henderson; one granddaughter, Arinna Henderson; three brothers, Alfred Henderson (Emma), Charles Henderson (Doris), and Harvey Henderson (Sandra); three sisters, Estelle Henderson, Lucille Henderson and Ethel Tanner; three brothers-in-law, Earl Mayo (Dorothy), Paul Tanner (Mary) and George Mayo along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
